Goodbye!
FT: Manchester City 4-2 Tottenham Hotspur
Thanks for joining us tonight - a bonus Premier League midweek fixture and it certainly lived up to expectations.
Manchester City showed their mettle with an electrifying second half display - but only after an inert first half showing left them having to come from two goals down.
Meanwhile Tottenham were improved from their North London Derby horror show - but with such a leaky defence, all remains unwell for the Lilywhites.
Here's our match report from a breath-taking encounter.
We'll be back at the weekend for more top-flight action. See you then.

Not too much reading between the lines needed from Guardiola there - he is very unhappy with the home crowd at Manchester City over a perceived lack of support for the team.
He's also not happy with his team's effort, feeling they were not competitive enough in the first half.
Also worth noting, the interviewer tried to ask Guardiola what he said to his team at half time. Guardiola refused to answer and walked off, ending the interview abruptly.

More from that remarkable Pep Guardiola post-match interview to Sky Sports:
Has a little bit of fire gone out?
"Definitely, otherwise we wouldn't have conceded any of those goals that we have conceded in any of these games."
How do you get that that fire back?
"It's my duty, it's my job. I want my fans back, I want my fans that are here - not my away fans, they are the best - but my fans here to support every corner and every action, because Tottenham are one of the toughest opponents I've ever faced."

'We have to continue to work and have patience'

Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte speaking to Sky Sports: "We played a good game with personality. We put a lot of pressure on City and created problems for them. They are always really difficult to play, but I am disappointed too.
"I hate losing - especially when we scored the two goals first.
"We have to continue to work and have patience. We need to create something important with this team. We are ready to improve and grow from this game. That means we have to adapt. We have experience in our team so we need to use that."
'There's nothing from the stomach, from the guts'

Pep Guardiola speaking to Sky Sports: "We have to prepare better, I cannot deny how happy we are but we are far away from the team that we were. Not in terms of play, we played good, but there are many things like competitiveness.
"We gave them the first goal, and then the second goal is ridiculous. There's nothing from the stomach, from the guts and we were lucky but if we don't change we will drop points."
So what are the things that are missing?
"Passion, fire and desire to want to win from the first minute. Our fans were silent for 45 minutes."
And then they booed at half time?
"They booed because we were losing but in the second half we played good, we had more chances. Maybe it's the same with our team, maybe we are so comfortable with winning four Premier Leagues in five years."

Spurs' defensive woes continue
FT: Man City 4-2 Spurs
That's 31 goals conceded after 20 Premier League games for Spurs this season - their highest at this stage of a season since 2007-08.
They've conceded two or more goals in nine of their last 10 league games, losing six of them.
They have serious issues at the back.

Did those boos at half time upset Pep Guardiola? It seems that way.
Few managers can get away with criticising their fans. But managers who have won four out of the last five Premier League titles are among those few.

What's next?
FT: Man City 4-2 Spurs
As mentioned earlier, Manchester City are next in action on Sunday lunchtime when they host Wolves.
Win, and they cut the gap at the top to two points, with leaders Arsenal playing Manchester United afterwards.
Spurs next play on Monday, when they travel across London to Fulham. Lose, and they could be in a battle for Europa League places, let alone top four.
'We showed what and who we are'
FT: Man City 4-2 Spurs
Sky Sports
Man of the match Riyad Mahrez speaking to Sky Sports:
You think about everything when you are down at half time. I think we played good in the first half. All we had against us was the two goals we conceded.
When we came back, we were frustrated. We have done it before. We have come back from two goals behind in the past.
We showed what and who we are and had a bit of luck too. We deserved the win.
