Yellowstone star Wendy Moniz has wrapped filming on the Paramount Network series. The actor, who stars as Governor Lynelle Perry, paid tribute to the fan-favorite show with a lengthy post on Instagram.
"Series wrap for me on Yellowstone and been having alllll the feels; sentimental, proud, grateful to name a few. What a beautiful experience I’ve had here; just incredibly fortunate to have worked with so many talented, dedicated, and kind people since 2017," she captioned her Instagram post, which featured several behind-the-scenes images from her time on Yellowstone. "I completed my last scene August 1st ... There’s been a lot to reflect on, because this place, with the exceptional people who make it live and breathe, has often felt like a home away from home over these last 7 years. Sharing some favorite captures during the course of that time for y’all."

New Amsterdam Alum Joins 1923 Season 2 Cast
1923 is beginning to round out its Season 2 cast, with the latest addition being one of the leads of the NBC medical drama New Amsterdam.
Moniz has been on Yellowstone since the very beginning, appearing in a recurring capacity through the first four seasons before being promoted to a series regular for the final season. Although the first eight episodes of Yellowstone Season 5 aired between November 2022 and January 2023, production on the last six episodes was significantly delayed, first over conflicts with former series lead Kevin Costner and then by last year's writers' and actors' strikes. Season 5 Part 2 is now set to premiere on Paramount Network on Nov. 10, more than a year after its original Summer 2023 release window.
Yellowstone Star Teases Emotional Final Episodes
While it remains unclear how Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan will conclude the fan-favorite series without Costner's patriarch John Dutton, Ian Bohen, who stars as ranch hand Ryan, recently teased that the final six episodes will be emotional for fans. After Paramount announced when Yellowstone would be returning to the small screen, Bohen wrote on Instagram that fans would need to "Grab your tissues" and "Send the youngins off to your sisters house" since it was "gonna get real western around here."

Yellowstone Sequel Series Gets New Title, First Cast Members
When Paramount first announced that Yellowstone would conclude with Season 5 Part 2, it was mentioned that the present-day story of the Dutton family would continue with a spinoff series tentatively titled 2024. While Matthew McConaughey was initially approached to headline this new series, it looks like he is no longer being eyed for the spinoff, which is now being developed as The Madison. Instead, Kurt Russell (Monarch: Legacy of Monsters), Michelle Pfeiffer (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania), and Patrick J. Adams (Suits) are reportedly in final talks to headline The Madison, with Beau Garrett (The Good Doctor) also nearing a deal.
Production will take place later in August in Montana, New York, and Texas. While Yellowstone stars Cole Hauser, Kelly Reilly, and Luke Grimes were previously announced to be in talks to reprise their respective roles as Rip Wheeler, Beth Dutton, and Kayce Dutton in The Madison, it is unclear if that is still the case.
Yellowstone returns for the back half of its fifth and final season on Nov. 10.
